Chengdu, China | November 2025 — Il Ponte d’Oriente (Oriental Bridge Chamber of Commerce) participated in the 18th China–EU Investment, Trade and Technology Cooperation Fair (Euro-China Fair), held from 19 to 21 November 2025 at the China–Europe Center in Chengdu. Organized by the China Chamber of International Commerce (CCOIC) and the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China, the event integrated policy exchanges with structured one-on-one B2B matchmaking, creating an efficient platform for practical business dialogues.

This edition marked the first joint effort between Il Ponte d’Oriente and FIERA DI MONZA E BRIANZA (FMB) to support Italian enterprises in entering the Chinese market through a trade fair program. The collaboration focused on three core objectives: connecting participating brands with targeted partners, enabling rapid validation of market assumptions, and defining actionable post-fair implementation pathways.

A standout highlight was the participation of Gargano Sapori, a 20-year-old Italian producer based in Monte Sant’Angelo (Puglia). During the fair, the Gargano Sapori team initiated preliminary discussions with potential Chinese partners, focusing on distribution channel development, market positioning for Chinese consumers, and practical market entry preparations (including packaging optimization and compliance certification).

Looking ahead, Il Ponte d’Oriente and FMB plan to build on this initial cooperation by leveraging similar trade fair formats to foster more bilateral business exchanges. The initiative aims to support the entry of more Italian brands into China while driving deeper two-way trade and industrial collaboration between Europe and China.
